FOLLOWING
the announce-
ment by the State Government that Caloundra Airport and
the Queensland Air Museum will not be moved, we would like
to note:
From the museum point of view, this has come after 10 years
of representations to first the Caloundra City Council,
the state and federal governments, and now the Sunshine
Coast Regional Council.
Over that period the museum |

has received
support from residents, businesses, and organisations,
by letter, petition, and personal attendance and comment.
The museum would like to thank those who supported our
position by whatever means, and to assure everyone that
given suitable lease conditions we will continue to grow
as an icon of the Coast.
