On 10 October 2008, the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce sponsored an awards ceremony in Caloundra. QAM received two awards.

Queensland Air Museum is honoured to have received these awards. We thank the Caloundra Chamber Of Commerce, the judges, and the sponsors for this endorsement of the Museum's place, and ongoing role in the total package that is the Sunshine Coast tourist industry.
