Rogers was a promotion bestowed upon QAM's Meteor T.T. Mk 20 WD647.
Not long after the Meteor was gifted to the Museum by the British Ministry
of Defence in 1975, the aeroplane was portrayed in caricature form as
shown above. The meteoric rise to Air rank is nothing less than this
grand old aeroplane deserves! |
