QAM entered into an agreement with Dr Richard Heath to store two Cessna 402 airframes (VH-RJH and VH-NQC) within the QAM compound at Caloundra for a period of one year. The agreement stipulated that one Cessna 402 airframe would remain with QAM but ultimately both aircraft (VH-RJH and VH-NQC) were gifted to QAM.

VH-NQC is the subject of a slow rebuild to static display standard by students of QAM's Youth Training Scheme. The aircraft incorporates components from Cessna 402Bs F-ODYG (blue trim) and F-ODYH (green trim) which were parted out at Redcliffe over the period JAN06 to JAN08. The airframe of F-ODYG and the wings from F-ODYH went to Sims Metal as scrap circa APR06. Both aircraft previously served with Air Corail of Noumea. (Source: 2)
